Biography
Kate is a part time Circulation Coordinator who typically works Sundays and Tuesdays. She comes to MIC with more than a decade in customer service and nonprofit management experience. She holds a master¡¯s degree in Health Advocacy with a focus on equity-based health policy and community organizing. She works to build community and make public services more accessible, which is why she loves libraries! Outside of the library you might find her riding a tandem bike with her spouse, quilting, walking her two rescue dogs, or attempting to grow herbs in her shady garden patch. Her all time favorite books are The Color Purple and A Tree Grows in Brooklyn.
Hobbies
Quilting/sewing, tarot reading, riding bikes, reading, natural dyeing and tie dye, nature walks to find spring ephemeral wildflowers, and completing Vermont’s Independent Bookstore Tour.
