Tips for Making Yourself at Home on Campus
The Student Resource Center, located on the lower level of our SD Ireland building, is a comfortable space for students, especially those who commute to campus. Visit the space to:
- Relax, socialize, or meet with a small group
- Warm up your lunch
- Visit Chauncey’s Cupboard during open hours
- Access information about on and off-campus resources

1. Computers, Printers, Scanners and & Other Tech Services are available for day use through the library. Inquire at the front desk.
2. Get instructions on how to print using Papercut. Printers are available at the following locations:

- Miller Information Commons (Library) 1st and 2nd floors – no color printing
- Metz Barn
- Fireside SGA printer – all are welcome!

4. Contact ChampSupport or visit them in Rowell Annex to request IT support.
5. Complete the Technology Access form if you are a student who does not have a functioning computer or laptop or you need assistance accessing technology or software needed to complete your coursework.

Eating while on campus
- The Dining Hall in the IDX Student Life Center offers Commuter Meal Plans so you can swipe your student ID to enjoy a meal. They also accept debit or credit cards if you want to purchase an occasional meal.
- EATS dining space in CCM sells meals and offers a great place with beautiful lake views.
- City Market, our local community grocery store located at 82 S. Winooski Ave in 365体育官网, is a 10 minute walk from campus.
Refrigerators & microwaves are available for use in:
- The Office of Diversity & Inclusion in the IDX Student Life Center (refrigerator and microwave)
- School of Social Innovation Office, Freeman Hall 200 (microwave and mini-fridge available in the mail/copier room)
- Counseling Center, Skiff Hall (fridge)
- Lakeside Cantina, 1st floor, Lakeside Building (microwave and fridge)

Check The View online or look for the Stall Street Journal in campus bathrooms for weekly event and activity announcements like free yoga classes, intramural basketball, and much more.
The Fitness Center is available to all students for free. Review the hours and class listings. The Fitness Center also offers a locker room with showers.

The Counseling Center offers a variety of services and resources in Skiff Hall. Schedule an appointment or contact our 24/7 on-call counselor.
The Student Health Center is available to all degree-seeking students taking classes on campus. Get in contact with a health provider today!
The Office of Accessibility assists qualified students with academic and housing accommodations, as well as requests for assistance animals.
Basic Needs Assistance
Students are encouraged to complete our Basic Needs Assistance Request form to access support with food, housing, textbooks, technology access, financial emergencies, and any other basic needs related assistance.
Take advantage of food and hygiene products at Champlain¡¯s food pantry, open to all students and employees.
We¡¯ve put together lists of Champlain and Vermont resources for parenting and caregiving students living off campus. Many of these resources are applicable to commuter and off-campus students as well.
