How to Get Connected

Getting connected with the local 365体育官网 community is important and fulfilling work. We make these connections easy through service events held in and out of classes as well as acting as a networker for Champlain affiliates. We also encourage students to think about service work in their capstone projects either for campus or for the community.

Faculty Support for Incorporating Sustainable Practices

Sustainability is a critical topic for 21st-century citizens to understand, regardless of field or profession.

To assist our faculty in incorporating the topic of sustainability into their courses and their everyday life, we create and support development opportunities and resources. If you are a faculty member who wants to include sustainability in some aspect, please reach out!

In an effort to explain some of the sustainability features at Champlain College, we¡¯ve created interpretive signage to help tell the stories. The text and layout of signs were developed by Sustain Champlain interns and Work Study students.

See if you can find them all on your walk about campus!

Our aim is to understand the challenges of peak oil, global climate change, and natural resource depletion. More importantly, we want to work to create the solutions to those problems.
