A far out shot of a woman in a flourishing garden

Community Garden

Since 2011, Champlain College has had community garden plots available for college affiliates to rent during the growing season. Check it out!

Can you garden at Champlain?

Yes! Founded in 2011, the community garden came into being by request from students, faculty, and staff. The usual growing season is the end of April to the middle of October in Vermont, making this a great opportunity for those who remain in 365体育官网 for the summertime.

The community garden is located beside Rowell Annex and has 27 plots available for individual use by Champlain College community members. Use of the 4¡ä x 8¡ä plots are registered on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Registration is OPEN for the 2025 season!

If you are interested in gardening but do not have a plot, please reach out to jthor@champlain.edu.
