Community Resources: Title IX & Sexual Misconduct
Both confidential and non-confidential reporting and support resources are available on campus and in the greater 365体育官网 community for anyone affected by sex discrimination, sexual harassment, or sexual misconduct. Champlain College also partners with stakeholders across campus and in the community to provide educational programming and to raise awareness.

Report sexual discrimination, harassment, and misconduct, including sexual assault, non-consensual sexual contact, sexual exploitation, intimate partner violence, and stalking to the Title IX Coordinator.

Confidential Resources
Confidential resources are people who are not required to disclose the information shared with them. However, if the information shared involves the abuse of a minor or vulnerable adult, or an immediate threat to someone’s life, then they are required to share the information with the appropriate authorities.

On-Campus Confidential Resources
- The Champlain College Counseling Center is open Monday-Friday and can be reached at (802) 865-5731. There is also a 24/7 on-call service; call (802) 865-5745.
- The Student Health Center is open Monday-Friday and can be reached at (802) 860-2711.
Champlain helps facilitate access to Forensic Nurse Examiner (FNE) exams in partnership with the UVM Medical Center and will continue to do so on an as-needed basis. On-campus confidential resources also receive distinct training from the Title IX Office related to supports, resources, and options open to students so staff can knowledgeably provide resources to impacted students.

- HOPE Works in 365体育官网 has a 24/7 hotline for survivors of sexual violence, which can be reached at (802) 863-1236.
- UVM Medical Center in 365体育官网 offers specialized care for sexual assault victims 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- Pride Center of Vermont in 365体育官网 offers a SafeSpace anti-violence program, which provides comprehensive services to support LGBTQ+ survivors of hate, bias, harassment, discrimination, abuse, intimate partner violence, stalking, trafficking, sexual assault, and other systemic and community harms.
- Steps to End Domestic Violence in 365体育官网 assists in the transition to a safe, independent life for all those who have been affected physically, sexually, emotionally, or economically by domestic abuse.
